Le Sanctuaire

This retail store is a high end cooking and lifestyle store. The design intention was to strip the existing space and expose the wood rafters, masonry bearing walls, seismic steel frame, concrete floors and existing skylights. The minimalism of the existing architecture was further enhanced by new full-height entry doors with custom-designed steel pulls, as well as a steel counter and service area for the cafe, creating an elegant backdrop to the imported culinary products.
